We are a small club, of enthusiastic members who enjoy a common interest in photography. We meet every last Wednesday of the month, at 7.30pm at Resthaven’s Community Centre, Vogel St. Cambridge

We range from the beginner to some more experienced photographers. We have a competition every alternate month with workshops in between. We also try to have the odd day out followed by an exhibition somewhere in the town.

In 2006 we expanded our knowledge, and joined the PSNZ (Photographic Society of New Zealand). Our aim, to become more competitive in our photography. We are now able to compete in the Interclub Salons that are run throughout New Zealand.

Since 2006 we’ve managed to have members images entered into the NZ Camera book. We continue our success with images from Scott McDougall, Helena Gratkowski and Peter Bryant in the 2014 publication.

And a huge congratulations to Eric H Hill who not only got an accepted at this years Natex but he also won the best Best Maritime Image – Richard Ratcliff Marine Award & PSNZ Silver Medal, with his Wet Night Watchman.
